    Thumbs down Drawing in ExCel

    Hey
In my maths leason I've been asked to draw a 3D picture of a building using excel, I will only begiven the coordinates of the corners of the building and from these I need to make a plan with three-point perspective.
I have looked all over the internet and I cannot find anything like this. If anyone has any advice as to how I should enter the data to get the picture I would be very thankful. I have racked my brain over this and I cant think of anything at all.
    Thanks

    Hi Pandagough,

Start by going to View > Toolbars > Drawing, you should now have your drawing toolbar on your sheet. You can drag this to the top, side or bottom of the window to dock it out of the way, if it isn't already.

Now by using the line, rectangle and oval, you should be able to draw something. Make use of the Shift and/or the Ctrl keys to draw lines at angle or ovals as circles. By right clicking on any of the drawn objects you will be able to chage the formatting to suit.

Have a play and see how you get on, let me know if this is what you were looking for?

Or you could make the cell into squares, and change the Headings to R1C1 format rather than Row/Column.

This would effectively give you graph paper and allow you to plot the co-ordinates accurately.
