    Formulas and Filters

    Hi guys and gals,

I need a little help here.

i have a worksheet on the go, but i want to know if it is possible to put in a formula so the result will only show what is filtered.

    eg...

    sam jan mike total
    500 500 600 1600

if i filtered out mike (with auto filter) i want the total to change to 1000 automatically.

    any ideas?

    =Subtotal(109,A1:A10)

    should do the trick.
