Dividing

How do I divide all the numbers(in each row and column) in one sheet by a constant?
For Example If I need to divide each and every number by1000 in the spread sheet?

Type 1000 into an empty cell and copy. Select the range of values to divide. Go to Paste Special and select Values & Divide. Click OK.
