Results (What actually shows up) Formulas
A-------------B-----------------A------------B
Rank----%Exceedance----------Rank-----%Exceedance
1------------1.00----------------1---------=A1/n
2------------1.50----------------2---------=A2/n
3------------1.76----------------3---------=A3/n
4------------1.00----------------4---------=A4/n
5------------1.50----------------5---------=A5/n
6------------1.76----------------6---------=A6/n
"n" would be the total number of ranked values. I have performed this action thousands of times before, but I think I changed some setting in excel or it's on the fritz. I have tried adding a C column with "n" so it would just divide across columns. I've tried pasting data into new workbook. I've tried filling down with =1/n instead of using cell reference.
*This may or may not help. If I click in the cell and hit return it will calculate the right value, but when I fill down it just keeps repeating the values I manually entered the formula for.
Does anyone know of a setting or a glitch in excel, or am I doing something wrong.
Thanks in advance.
