Hi

I am still pretty novice so I hope this makes sense.

I have seven workbooks, all with only one sheet.

For all of these 7 sheets I have 4 identical buttons. Each button has a seperate macro assigned to it. The four buttons and the macro assigned to them are the same in each sheet.

At the moment, I have copied the module containing the code into each of the 7 workbooks.

However, this is not ideal when it comes to chagning the code.

What I would like is to have all the code in one place. I have tried doing this as an add-in (.xla) but I can't seem to assign the macro's (they don't appear).

Firstly, is using an add in the best thing to do? And if yes, how do I make it work!?

This may be important. The add-in has to be seperate to my personal.xls file becuase I will be emailing my 7 sheets to other people to use so I assume the add-in file will have to go to?
