    adding pages

Our fishing club season started and I am using the spreadsheet donated by an angler last year (unfortunately he is not able to help out this time). This year we have more members than last. How do I go about adding an extra page (page 9) to the end of the spreadsheet and then getting the recap page to calculate the figures on the new page 9 in with the rest.

The excell lets you put anglers catches in for each individual and keeps a running total of the weight of fish they have caught over the year against their name. Then on the recap page it sorts all the anglers on their aggregate weights in order of heaviest first. The ones who caught the most appear at the top of the league

This is currently how it looks

Obviosuly I do the editing in excell and then make the webpage to upload onto the site.

It is impossible to answer this question without seeing the spreadsheet. All I can suggest is you zip it up and post it on the forum to see if somoene can work it out for you.

Here is the modified file http://www.bestsharing.com/files/ms0...tches.xls.html

All I did was select the Recap page
then unprotect the sheet. Tool\Protection\Unprotect sheet

I selected a middle row (say row 10) and added 4 blank rows (click on the row title, then press Shft and Ctrl and + at the same time (4 times)
In column A, I copied an existing formula from a cell into one of the new blank rows

    =Page8!F1 became =Page9!F1

There are 4 different references you need to add into the 4 new rows
    =Page9!B1
    =Page9!F1
    =Page9!J1
    =Page9!N1

In column B, add the following forumulas
    =Page9!B4
    =Page9!F4
    =Page9!J4
    =Page9!N4

In colum C add the following formulas
    =Page9!c4
    =Page9!G4
    =Page9!K4
    =Page9!O4

In column E, just copy the formula down.

Then put the protection back on. Tools\Protection\Protect sheet.

    That's it.

    Ok,

Would it be possible to add some more items here ?

I would like to add the amount of fish caught by each angler in each match. Ie in match one glenn kilpatrick (thats me) caught 3 pounds 7 ounces of fish. That weight was made up of 4 fish. I would like a column for the amount of fish for each angler in each match. Then I would like to do a running total for a total amount of fish for each angler - To go against the total weight on the recap page.

Then if possible to break it down further on the recap page and have avearge fish weight - total weight / amount of fish

Then if possible to have monthly weights and monthly amount of fish and monthly avearges on the recap page.

Also if possible to calculate a seperate league table for junior members.

A lot there I know but any help at all, even on one item would be really appreciated.
