can't see audit tool arrows - Please HELP!

I now have new PC and since I had that PC I can't see the arrows when I select the"trace precedent" option. It's really causing me problems as I rely on this a lot to audit the formulas.
When I open the files on my old PC I can see the arrows, the problem is only on my new PC.

Anyone got any ideas as to why this may be happening?

Thank you so much in advance

If you click where an arrow should be (between two cells) do you alternate between the two cells as you would if the arrow were visible?

No - nothing happens when I click trace precedent and clear dependents

Can you activate the 'Formula Auditing' toolbar? - and does anything on it work? - does the Active cell HAVE a dependant?

    any other clues?

or does the 'trace' require that the Analysis Toolpack have been loaded on that machine?
