Allow entry into selected cells

I want to protect most of a spreadsheet, but not all of it. How do I allow a user to enter data into just certain cells? I have looked at Tools > Proctection > and the options there. I can see where is allows me to protect the entire sheet or a range but not selected cells or allow just entry into some.
I want to allow a user to enter data into 5 entry cells. ( b3, b5, c7, c9, and c11)

Hi,

Try selecting the cells then right click > format cells > protection Tab then unselected locked cells.

Then when you protect the sheet it should work
