I am becoming very frustrated.
I purchased a Dell Inspiron 6000 with the Microsoft Office 2003 Small Business Edition. I'm running Webroot's Spy Sweeper and McAfee's set of antivirus software.
Recently, I've been having trouble with Excel's Find... feature. I will search for a text string or a number that I know exists in a spreadsheet or a workbook, but Excel claims it can't find them.
I tried to install a patch from Microsoft's website, but it wouldn't allow the installation.
Now, when I open Excel, I have to wait while Office configures it.
Can anyone help me? Is there a patch for these issues? Is there some option or preference I need to change?
