Pivot table for future none existent months

I have a pivot table that outputs data for each month. In the layout I have the month and division in the page area. This are the only dropdowns I change to get data from a specific division for a specific month. The problem is when I select a future month where there is no data yet. The pivot table seems to concatenate two fields which expands the table. I would like for it to just put in zeros where there is no data yet. I hope that I explained that clearly...

I am not exactly clear on what is happening, but try to change the pivot table properties by right-clicking within the page area, then change the fields "for error values show" and "for empty cells show". Set these to zero. That may help.

You are telling me that the only thing you changed between the 1st and 2nd pciture was the month? There wasn't any other modificaiton? If you change the month back to May will the table go back to the original format?

Also, I don't see what you are talking about regarding the concatenate, the change I notice is that you are getting subtotals where you don't want them. You should explore all the table options and field settings in the meantime.

Also, where is the source data? Are you pulling this from another excel workbook/worksheet?

What values are in the cells for september?
