    one function two outputs.

Here's an interesting one. I am not sure if excel even has the capability to do this. Maybe a macro or a script will be required. What I am trying to do is have a function output two things. A part number and comment that is associated with that part number.

    Example.
    1st cell: 55789785
    second cell: 13% Discount

The information is pulled from a database and I use excel formulas to get the information into terms better understood by excel. At this last part, the formula looks at a part number and the comment is already associated with the part number in the database. At the end of this formula I want it to show the part number it is checking and then the comment it is supposed to be. How do I do this?

Assuming you're talking about formulas, you can have one in each cell.
