    Using the enter button

Is there a way to only go to specified cells with the enter key in Excell. I
know that you can lock cells and tab to the unlocked, but I need to enter my
numbers going down and not to the right.

    RE: Using the enter button

'Tools'...'options'....edit tab....move selection after enter Direction: use
the drop down tab to change where you want the cursor to go after hitting
    enter.

    RE: Using the enter button

There are cells I would like to skip though. I have a range of cells like
A5-A15 and then C5-C15. I would like the enter key to go to those cells to
enter info only. When I reach A15 and hit enter, I would like it to take me
    to C5 and not A16.

    RE: Using the enter button

Before you start entering, highlight A5-A15. Then while holding Ctrl key,
highlight C5-C15. The active cell will move down column A as you enter. As
you reach A15, the next enter will take you to C5.

You can do this with a named range.

See Bob Phillips' site for instructions.
