    quick sum display

usually when a block of cells is selected, the sum of the data in the cells
is displayed at the bottom of the screen but this has stopped. Can anyone
help me turn the function back on please?

Right click in that area of the status bar, and you'll see a choice of
    "None" and the functions available.
If "None" is checked, just check on one of the functions you wish to see
    displayed.

On the other hand, you might be missing the status bar all together!
    If so, click on:
    <View> <Status Bar>.

Right-click on the status bar and select from the options.

You currently have it set to "None".
