Pivot Table issue in Excel 2007

I am encountering an issue when I create a pivot table in Excel 2007 and save
it as a .xls file. When coworkers are working in the file and click on the
field drop-down arrows, nothing happens. The arrows are visible, but they do
not open up to display the associated values.

Has anyone else experienced this? If yes, what did you do to correct? Is
there a Table option I'm missing?
