why are my files out of alphabetical order?

I have many folders and files in my drive. All of a sudden last week they are
not in alphabetical order. I do not think I changed any settings at all. If i
did I cannot seem to find a setting that has to do with this.

    Please offer any suggestions.

    Thank you!

If you are viewing your files/folders in Detail view simply clicking on a
column heading will re-arrange the order. If you want them in albetical
order of Name just click on Name at the top of that column. Clicking NAme
    again will reverse the order.

I'm not sure how you're looking at the filenames--windows explorer or the
    file|Open (or File|SaveAs) dialog.

But if you show details, you can click on the headers to sort by that column.
