    Macro to paste and print in another application

    Hi,

    I'm trying to run some functions in another application on my desktop. The macro below will open the application in question:

    Sub Run_DebitMemo()
    Run Shell("C:\ORANT\BIN\R25RUN32.EXE \\jade\apps\oracle\apsubsystem\debitdetails_coversheet.rep nassudani/nassudani@apasprod", 1)
    End Sub

    Here is what I'm attempting to do after that:

    Copy data out of an excel sheet into a field called Assign ID
    Copy data out of an excel sheet into a filed called Vendor #

    Does anyone have any thoughts on how I can do this? I'm having problems with the recorder and trying to get the data into the application that the macro above opened. I would be grateful if someone could put me on the right track.

    Thanks

    Eddie

    You might want to check out a little free tool that Oracle provides called
    Oracle Objects for OLE (OO4O). Link to the Oracle page FAQ for it is here:
    http://www.orafaq.com/faqoo4o.htm

    I haven't used it in a long time, but it was a very handy tool and worked
    very well when I was interfacing Excel 97 to an Oracle database long, long
    ago in another programming experience far, far away.
