Embedded Excel file gridlines printing

I have an embedded Excel file in word and when I go to print, it is printing with the gridlines. In excel I have the gridlines turned off and it is still not working.

Open the Excel file in the Word document and turn off the gridlines. If it's still a problem, open the Excel file in the Word document and change the gridline color to white.
