IF formula & Percentage

OK, say whats below is E3:E17 in a column on a worksheet and I wanted to put formulas in seperate cells stating the percentage of m's and f's in the column, what would that formula be??

=COUNTIF(A:A,"m")/COUNTA(A:A)
