    Using 'return' button in Excel for Macs

    Hi there,
    I am entering written data (sentences) into an Excel spreadsheet on my Mac.
    When I want to stay in the same cell, but skip down a line (as I can do by
    pressing "return" in Word), the cursor goes to the next cell. I was told to
    press Alt+return, but this does not work for Macs.
    Please help me!

    A small search of google for "alt-return mac" indicated that:

    control + option + return

    should work.

    Make sure that you have wraptext turned on.

    There are lots of things that Wintel and Mac's share in excel. But for
    somethings, you may be better posting to:
