    Why when I enter & in the customer header field, it does not show

    Why when I enter an & sign in the customer header field, it does not show up
    on preview or print. It just leaves a blank space. The & sign is part of our
    company name and I want to have our company name in the header.paten

    Try putting && instead of just &

    The ampersand (&) is a reserved character. To make it show up in the header,
    type two of them (&&)

    The & is a special symbol in headers/footers used for displaying page
    numbers, dates and time. To get the character to display, enter it twice.
    For example, to display "A&B Company" in a header/footer, you'd enter: "A&&B
    Company"
