Compress big Excel file

Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to compress / compac an excel file (I know we can do that on Access databases), but not as Winzip, I want to continue to use it.
Because one of my file has around 7000 lines and around 30 columns so when I use a filter it's very long.
If someone knows a way to seep up, it could be great
