copying text from alternate cells

Hi,

I need to copy text from cells A2, A4, A6 and so on.

Could someone please give a formula for this?

Where do you want to copy your data to?

That might be done with formulas, not VBA.

In B1 (then copy down):
=INDEX(A:A,ROW()*2)
