Autosum

Hi,

I am new to this forum and Hello to all.

I copy calculation sheet from web page and paste it to excel sheet then I do
Edit--clear-- formats and Edit-- clear-- comments.
Now I want to autosum one of the column of sheet but result is always zero that is Autosum function is not working.

How can I get rid of this.

I'm guessing that each cell contains some non-numeric characters (some of those
HTML non-breaking spaces???).

Try retyping the values into the cells. If the =sum() changes to non-zero, you
may want to try David
McRitchie's routine to clean the data:
