    sorting

I have a list of 20,000 donor records. I'd like to delete the duplicate
entries. I've sorted the list, but how would i be able to get the data so
that theres a batch of all the duplicates then all i need to do is delete. At
the moment I'm ploughing through the list and deleting as i'm going along.
There must be an easier way. Thanks.

The easier way is to use Data->Filter->Advanced Filter...
    Select all your data
Use the menu for Data->Filter->Advanced Filter...
In the dialog that comes up, select "Copy to another location"
Click in the "Copy to" box, then select a cell off to the right of your data
    Check "Unique records only"
    Click on OK.

Excel will copy all of the unique rows to the new range, thus excluding the
    duplicates.
