Data to transfer from column to row

    Dear All,

I have a cell that contains like:

    PM-1234, PM-2345, PM-5689, PM-9999. I want to segregate these 4 tags into rows.

    i.e.,
    PM-1234
    PM-2345
    PM-5689
    PM-9999

Is there any excel guru out there to help in my problem???

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    qwerty70

If you highlight the four cells containing the data, then click <copy>,
then move to where you want the columnar data to start, then Edit |
Paste Special | Values (check) and check Transpose then OK and press
<Esc>, this will transpose your data into a column, as you request. You
    can delete the original data.

    Hope this helps.

Sorry, I've just re-read your post and it seems that you have the four
values in one cell. In this case, you can use Data | Text-to-columns
first to split the cell into four, using comma as the delimiter. Then
you should be able to transpose the data as described earlier.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete
