I have a small workbook that is about 300 kb
when I save it as HTLM it is now about 14kb, when I open it as HTLM
the sheet and the macros work, :
just curious to know why one wouldn't save as htlm or what would be the
purpose of it

Hi Rich,
Hold onto your chair because the entire workbook is not in one HTML file.
If your workbook is named OfficeWork.xls you will find an HTML file
something like OfficeWork.htm *and* you will find a folder named
with something beginning with OfficeWork which is where most of the
material can be found. You can post back exactly what you have when you
look at it.
