Why would Excel stop auto text for one word only

Why would Excel 2003 stop auto texting for one word only?

don't know what you mean but it probably has something to do with
a word in your auto correct list.
Tools, Auto Correct options

or possible you are speaking of Auto Complete
Tools, Options, Edit, [x] Auto complete
