    Default Settings in Excel 2003

Hello, I would like to set as a default a specific combination of headers &
footers each time I start working in a blank worksheet. Also, I need to
permanently change the default screen size. Any suggestions? Thanks, Tom

You should create a workbook with all your desired custom settings. Then
save it as a template (File, Save As -> Template) in your XLSTART folder as
    BOOK.XLT.

I don't understand your second question.
