Sorting lists

When I sort data in a column the relative data in the rows adjacent remains in place. What can I do ?

Select the complete range that should sort--all the columns that you need.

Then use data|sort.

I've always found it better to select my range than to let excel guess at what
should be sorted/filtered/graphed/pivottabled/etc.
