How can I retrieve an Excel document that I did not save?

After editing an established file document, I accidentally closed the window
without saving it. Is there any way of retrieving that info again?

The original document should exist from wherever you first got it.....of
course, any changes you made during your editing session will not be
    there......

Sometimes it's best first off when you know you're going to make a bunch of
changes, is to change the name of the file and save as a backup.....just in
    case.
