    challange

    Hello Here is a Challange:
I have a drop down list in a cell 252 entries, when you make a choice the choice will be like this (read like this) 1/5. Ok, so now I want the cell next to the drop down list to covert or reference a value in the form of a multiper. decimal point. So in this case when you choose 1/5 from the drop down list the cell next to this will read .95. That is because 1/5 equals that. So the second example will be next choice in the drop down list 1/5 & 1 the cell next to this will now be the decimal of this, that is .9405. How can I make this happen.

    Thanks let me know...

    RE: challange

i dont qite follow..1/5 was 0.2 when i went to school.would it be as easy as
a vlookup tble where the left hand column is your drop down list and your
values you want returned are listed in the second column,so your cell next to
the drop down is =vlookup(value from dropdown list, dropdown list 2 column
    table,2,false)
