How do I sort my excel list alphabetically by last name?

I purchased a mailing list and am unable to reconfigure it...I need to
arrange it alpahbetically by last name. Appreciate any help.

Are the first & last names together in the same column, or are they in
separate columns?

Doug....same column...last name comma first name
