I am building a running program and use the autofill quite a bit due to Excels ability to adjust numbers based on the pattern. example: If i have 1 mile and drag and autofill the rest of the column, it continues with 2 miles, 3 miles and so on.

For a particular set of data, the pattern is in the middle. "1 mile in Zone 1 - 4.5 miles in Zone 2 - 0.5 miles in Zone 1". 4.5 is the data that want to add 1 to for the rest of the column but Excel does not want to cooperate. To the point of I deleted the "1 Mile in Zone 1" and it updated the "Zone 1" at the end.

I can manually change the date but, is there away to point Excel to the data I want auto filled and changed?
