excel default: opening files

    excel default: opening files

    how do I set up excel so that when I open new files, each is in a new
    window? I like having the ability to toggle between files using
    alt+tab.

    Shouldn't that be - Tools > Options > GeneralTab > check "Windows in
    Taskbar" ?

    Maybe on your more modern version of Excel, but on my antique XL97, it's
    "Ignore other Applications"............(vbg)
