Applying a discount to a column of prices!

I have a column of prices around 300 entries.

Being lazy I would like to know how I can apply a formula to reduce
    each price by 10%.

There is no other calculation in that column.

    In another cell, type .9
    Copy that cell

Then select the column of numbers
    Edit>PasteSpecial>Multiply
    OK

Go back and clear the cell.
