How can i make a custom templet in excel?

I want to build a custom templet for perparing bids for work, I would like to
be able to have a few spaces to fill in, then have the formulas do the work
for me . Is this possible? Now i have one saved excel sheet that i copy and
paste every time, I would like to have a templet so other people will be able
to fill in the blanks and noting more.

You can lock cells that shouldn't be changed.
You can unlock cells that can be changed.
    (Format|cells|Protection tab)

    Then protect the sheet
    tools|protection|protect sheet

Worksheet protection is easily broken, but it may be enough to stop users from
changing the stuff that they shouldn't change.

Ps. There are some things that aren't available on protected sheets. You may
want to test a bit before you share with the general population.
