    Deborah,
You can color them, hide them and change their height but you can't move them.

Turn that monitor upside down??? <vbg>.

Excel doesn't support that. The worksheet tabs are at the bottom or not shown.

If you want to hide them:
    tools|options|view tab|Uncheck Sheet tabs.

But then you would need to stand on your head to read it, which kind-of
    defeats the objective <ebg>

    Hi Dave,
    I have tried the:
    tools|options|view tab|check Sheet tabs
but it does not work. I am unable to view the tabs at the bottom of the
sheet. Therefore, I am unable to access any of the sheets except the one
    on-screen.
    Do you have any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Thom

Make sure the all the window is visible:

    Window|arrange|tiled
and resize the way you like it.

    Thanks Dave,

That's my problem. When I try resizing the window by minimizing it first,
it reduces to a smaller size; however, the tabs for the other worksheets are
not there. How on earth can I correct this. I have several very important
worksheets in this spreadsheet, other than the one that shows onscreen.
Right now, I am unable to access them.

    Thanks for any help,
    Thom

First, you can use ctrl-pgup and ctrl-pgdn to go through the worksheets.

But don't minimize the window--just tile it. Then you should be able to see all
the tabs for each of the windows.

And you're sure you have tools|options|view tab|sheets tab checked???

Re: How do I move the worksheet tabs to the top of the workbook?

Thanks a lot, Dave. Your suggestion to try "window - Arrange - Tiled"
worked just fine. I will certainly remember this, because some very
important data was inaccessable to me.

Incidentally, I have a template that I use for new spreadsheets, and the
tabs for the pages showed OK on this worksheet. Therefore I moved the one
visible spreadsheet on one of the above spreadsheets in question (Edit - Move
or copy). This worked fine and resulted in one of the other sheets coming up
due to the moved one now being gone. This would have been laborious though,
since I had about 15 worksheets all together.

For your help, I am glad to award you five "Attaboy"s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Many thanks,
    Thom
