Hi Ed,
Yes, you also make the scroll bars larger.
WinStart button, Settings, Control Panel, Display,
Appearance (tab), Item: Scrollbar
change size up from 18 to something larger.
If you are going to be making other changes, I have
some suggestions for preserving settings at
different dates.

The Windows "scrollbar" affects the SheetName tabs?? As well as all other
scrollbar items? There's nothing in Excel, like maybe just make the tab
font larger?
