    Conditional Format and Pivot Table

I have a pivot table and some conditional formatting associated with it.
Everytime I refresh the pivot I lose my conditional formatting. Is there a
way to save the formatting so that when I refresh the pivot it stays?
    TIA!

You'll see that message if you're using Excel 97, and there's no way to
    make it stick.

In later versions, you can apply conditional formatting, and it will
stay in place after a pivot table refresh or change. However, it stays
with the original cells where the formatting was applied, and doesn't
    move with the pivot fields.

You could record a macro as you refresh the pivot table, and reapply the
conditional formatting, then run that macro as required.
