is there a template for Excel for a telephone format?

It would be nice to be able to convert a 10 digit number so that it would be
readable as a telephone number such as (332) 233-8765. Excel in office 2000
is the program I use. Also Word in office 2000.

Format>Cells>Custom--Phone Number

Hi,

'Format' -> 'Cells' (In the Toolbar), or select the cell(s), Right click
and select 'Format Cells'
Then, select under 'Number', 'Special' and 'Phone Number'
