EXCEL SELECTED FILE DOES NOT OPEN ONLY BLANK EXCEL MUST GO THROUG.

When I try to open an excell file it opens a blank excell page Then I Have to
    go
through open file look in etc to open file eventhough I clicked that file or
short cut in the first Place.

    Hi,

Try one o both of the following:

    1.With Excel open...
Go to menu Tools>Options.., tab 'General' and uncheck the option 'Ignore
    other applications'

    2.- With Excel closed...
Hit Windows 'Start' button, Select 'Run...' and execute the following:
    excel /regserver

    Regards,
