When i format cells to show the € symbol in the currency format it appears as
a| instead, can anyone explain why this is happening, it happened even when i

You can format the cell as
"€ "#,##0.00;[Red]-" € "#,##0.00
which should show as you would wish it to.

When you see a cell with a number that's showing ####, it's usually because the
column isn't wide enough.
You could try widening the columnwidth or making the font smaller.

Thanks Dave, i soreted that problem but i still have the problem of the
document going back to the | sign instead of the € sign when i take the page
size off 75%

Actually guys , I have it sorted now, it really is just to do with the page
size. I dont know why but hey!! I'll just have to leave the page size to
anything above 50%!!!
