I actually add new files/shortcuts throughout a 3 month period to my
favorites folder. Every quarter I remove the old and add the new ones as they
become available. So it's definitely an on going process with about 25-30
excel files in my favorites near the end of any given quarter.

Anyways, it just looks like another change was made to Excel without
consideration of the usefullness of the 'add to favorites' option. Thanks
