    "Shared" Mode???

Why do some of my Excel Workbooks open in "Shared" mode when I am the only
user? How can I prevent Shared mode?

    Thanks,

    Keith

    Re: "Shared" Mode???

    Hi Keith,
If you turn on Tracking you also turn on Shared.
    To turn off
Tools, protection, protect and share workbook, (uncheck) share workbook
Tools, sharing, (uncheck) allow change by more than 1 user...
Be sure to save the workbook or nothing will change.
