Is there a way that columns A B C F & G can be copied without including D E &
F? When I hide them, copy and then paste, it still includes the hidden
columns.

Hold the control key as you click on the column's you want to copy. Then copy
and paste to the new sheet.

Couple of ways.
Select A, B, and C,
Hold <Ctrl>,
Select F, and G,
Then right click in the selection and choose "Copy",
Click in the starting cell or column of the new location,
And Paste.
If D and E are hidden,
Select A to G,
Then <F5> <Special>
Click "Visible Cells Only",
<OK>
Then complete your Copy and Paste.
The Paste will copy to a *contiguous* range in the new location.
