how to delete the record from Data Source in the MS Query (Office 97 english version) ??

These are stored under your ODBC settings, not specific to Excel or MSQuery.
In WinXP go to Control Panel and Computer management and you'll fid them
under the ODBC settings. I versions pre-XP you will probably find it simply
under data sources in Control Panel
