Installing Excel to a Flash Memory Pen

    Hi All,

I am struggling with Excel 97 at work and running with Excel 2003 at
home, unfortunately the upgrade process at work takes a little time !!

Is there anyway that I could install Excel 2003 or Excel 2002 onto a
Flash Memory pen, which I could then stick into my work PC and use ?

I've seen articles about loading Windows XP onto a flash memory pen and
wondered if I could do the same with Excel 2002?

Also would this violate the licensing rules?

My work PC is Windows 98 SE.

    Many Thanks

    Adam

Although I can't answer your question about installing Microsoft Office (or any stand alone program such as
Microsoft Excel), I can tell you that Microsoft Excel 2003 will NOT install under Windows 98, Windows 98
Second Edition (SE), Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me), or Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 6 (SP6).

If you need to run Microsoft Excel under Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition (SE), Windows Millennium
Edition (Windows Me), or Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 6 (SP6), you will need to install Microsoft Excel
    2002 (XP) or earlier version.

I meant to add "to any removable device such as a Flash Memory Pen".
