[SOLVED] .qpw to .xls?

Is there any easy way to convert a .qpw (quattro pro) file to .xls? I
created a quattro pro file on my mother's machine to help me manage her
finances after my dad's death and after sending the file to my machine find
I can't convert. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.
BTW, I'm running Excel 97.

Quatro pro file at least for DOS) have the extention of WQ1.
Right clik the file
Select open with
and choose the Excel program

with me it works fine using Excel XP
I have not tried it with Excel 97

No version of Excel supports .QPW files, and AFAIK there's no free software
that does. You'll either need to use Quattro Pro on your mother's PC to save
the file in Excel's .XLS format or buy a copy of WordPerfect Office for your
own PC.
