how can I paste multi-line/multi-paragraph data into ONE cell?

I need to paste several paragraphs into one cell. Each paragraph is getting
pasted into a new row. It must be simple, but Help is no help at all.

Can you just paste it into the formulabar?

Thanks I'll try that when I'm back at work. Unrelated questions: How come
Community help is so much better than the application Help? What does MS plan
to pay its Community helpers for providing its really helpful content? (Or
maybe you work for MS already - hope so.)

These newsgroup participants are mostly made up of users of excel. Every once
in awhile, an MS employee shows up, but it's not really common.

Please check your mailbox. You have a bill for the answer--but you only need to
pay for it if it works! <vbg>.
