I realize setting an Excel as a "shared" file makes it about as stable
as a one-legged sawhorse, but in v2003 is SharePoint a viable
alternative? I've just begun reading about it and want to ask others
who know of it if they successfully have been able to share Excel files
without "sharing violations" or other such nightmares.

Anyone?
